MOLOKAI, KAUAI, BIG ISLAND

I went to Hawaii for a closer appreciation of the culture, dance, music, spiritual attitude, geology and food. Enjoying the climate of January felt like escaping a prison sentence in Maine; the Spirit of Hawaii was far beyond my expectations. Beaches were empty and campgrounds vacant. I spent one nightmare day and night on Oahu and left for the Big Island, Molokai and Kauai. Every refugee should escape to such a haven-a month of pure paradise.
